PhD Europe Scholarship in Modeling


IES PhD Europe program has recently been established at Risø DTU in order to strengthen and focus research in this field. The program contributes to research in energy systems with high levels of stochastic energy, associated with other energy systems, architecture, technology and systems. Modelling electricity markets, using high level mathematical method, considering the stochastic nature of renewable energy is one key element. This PhD Europe research was done in company with other universities, utilities and industry, and participation in international activities would be expected.

We offer a
PhD Europe challenging career with the possibility to play an active role in the development of new programs. PhD Europe Positions in Structural Eng., Weimar


PhD Europe Basic research is the results that have been realized during the first project phase. Further research will be conducted in groups of two to three students working under the guidance of two PhD students Postdoctoral. Each doctoral student supervised by three professors, two of whom are professors in Weimar and the third of our international partners. After a phase of intensive training doctoral students who participate will develop their thesis topic to work with their supervisors. The PhD Europe combination of models and methods of a particular project and then provides the means to handle the complex problems faced by the working group.

We expect a very good degree of applicants in one or more of the following subjects

Civil Engineering
Structural and Soil Mechanics / Dynamics
Materials Science
Applied Mathematics & Computer Science

We see ourselves as an international research training group. Very good English language ability is a prerequisite for internal communications, for publication in scientific journals, and obliged to live abroad, serving scientific exchanges with the cooperation of our international partners.


PhD Europe In order to allow a fast realization of models, of couplings, and of evaluation methods, command of one or several programming languages (e.g. C/C++, Java, Python, Matlab) is of advantage.

The PhD Europe positions are available as of June till October 2011. Funding is granted for a maximum period of three years and is compensated according to TV/L 13 E. It is the aim of Bauhaus-Universität to increase to number of female scientists. Therefore women in particular are requested to apply. Handicapped people will be favored in case of equal qualification.

PhD Europe Researcher


PhD Europe Essential in forensic toxicology is the detection and evaluation of postmortem drug concentrations in order to determine the cause of death or contribution to the cause of death in autopsy cases. However, postmortem drug concentrations do not necessarily reflect concentrations at the time of death and may vary according to the drug involved, the sampling site and the time interval between death and sample collection.

We PhD Europe are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic graduate (MSc) with a background in the field of pharmacy, chemistry, biomedical sciences or equivalent. The candidate should have strong organisational, communication and writing skills (in Dutch and English). You are creative, result-driven and able to take initiative. We are looking for a team player who is also able to work independently. PhD Europe Experience in the field of bio-analysis will be an advantage.Only candidates from the European Union and North America are eligible for this position.

Keith Gilmore Phd Europe Scholarships


Phd Europe The program continues to grow and help young people succeed community.Scholarships in agriculture are in three categories:
• Up to two scholarships of $ 2,500 to individuals in a program of Diploma in agriculture, agricultural journalism and / or veterinary medicine at an accredited university offered, leading to a career in agriculture.
• Up to four scholarships of $ 2,000 to individuals in an undergraduate program in agriculture, agricultural journalism and / or veterinary medicine (or pre-veterinary) offered at an accredited university to a career in agriculture. The
Phd Europe successful candidate will have completed at least one year in his major field of study.
• Up to four scholarships of 1,500 € are available to people enrolled in a recognized diploma program in agriculture, agricultural journalism and / or animal health technology leads to a career in agriculture. Successful applicants have already completed at least one year in a degree program.
Phd Europe have been completed for each category, the candidate must at least one year of college or university and be enrolled in winter semester for a further year of study at a university require or university.Students can once more but the students are limited to one award per category. PhD Europe Research Studentships Geological Disposal


Two PhD Europe scholarships in the Department of Geosciences, University of Cambridge:

- Record and stability of actinides in uranium ores.

- effects of radiation damage on the resolution and retention of fission products from SNF.

PhD Europe applicants should have a first-class degrees in both geological sciences, material sciences, physics or chemistry, where appropriate, for each project. Doctoral program will begin in the 2011-12 academic year and be fully funded for 3.5 years with standard EPSRC grant. The PhD Europe projects concern the use of uranium and the successful candidates will deal adequately trained in dealing with these issues. Intensive cooperation with foreign research institutions in the U.S. and Europe is planned.
Applications should include a CV and the names of two academic referees and be sent to Dr I. Farnan (if203@cam.ac.uk) to whom informal inquiries may also be made. PhD Europe applications will be accepted until the post filled but review of applications will start on 4 May 2011.
