IES PhD Europe program has recently been established at Risø DTU in order to strengthen and focus research in this field. The program contributes to research in energy systems with high levels of stochastic energy, associated with other energy systems, architecture, technology and systems. Modelling electricity markets, using high level mathematical method, considering the stochastic nature of renewable energy is one key element. This PhD Europe research was done in company with other universities, utilities and industry, and participation in international activities would be expected.
We offer a PhD Europe challenging career with the possibility to play an active role in the development of new programs. Intelligent energy systems are high on the political agenda which is also reflected in the funding and other resources enjoyed by the group.The scholarships to PhD level academic approval, and the candidates will enroll in a degree program generally DTU.
